My Story — The Heart Behind MenoFit™

Hi, I’m Chloe — Founder of MenoFit™, Certified Personal Trainer, Menopause Coaching Specialist, and Mum to two amazing teenagers.

MenoFit wasn’t created from theory alone. It was born from lived experience, deep education, and a genuine understanding of what it feels like when your body changes — and the old rules no longer apply.

I’ve spent over a decade helping women move, feel, and live better. But like many of the women I work with now, my own journey hasn’t been linear or easy.

After having my children, I experienced significant weight gain and post-natal depression, eventually reaching 110kg and feeling completely disconnected from my body and myself. I fell into the cycle so many women know well — dieting hard, losing weight fast, then gaining it all back again. Each round left me more exhausted, more frustrated, and less confident than the last.

Even as a qualified Personal Trainer, I struggled to apply what I knew in a way that was sustainable.

In 2015, I made a decision that changed everything. I stopped chasing quick fixes and started focusing on strength, nourishment, and consistency — habits I could actually maintain. Over time, the weight came off, but something far more important happened: I rebuilt my confidence, my self-trust, and my belief in what my body was capable of.

That transformation led me to start my own personal training business — with a mission to help women step out of survival mode and back into their strength.

Then came midlife… and perimenopause.

In my 40s, despite years of training experience, I was caught off guard by symptoms I didn’t expect and couldn’t ignore — stubborn weight gain, constant fatigue, brain fog, disrupted sleep, and a body that no longer responded to “more cardio” or “eating less.” What had once worked suddenly didn’t — and it was confronting, confusing, and deeply frustrating.

That chapter became the turning point that shaped MenoFit™.

I realised women in perimenopause and menopause don’t need to try harder — they need a smarter, hormone-aware approach. One that builds strength, protects muscle, supports metabolism, and prioritises energy, recovery, and long-term health.

I went on to complete advanced menopause-specific training and certifications through Girls Gone Strong, allowing me to specialise in evidence-based strength training, nutrition, and lifestyle coaching specifically for midlife women.

Today, MenoFit™ is designed for women navigating perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause who want to:

  • Feel strong, capable, and confident again

  • Lose body fat without extreme dieting or burnout

  • Improve energy, focus, and resilience

  • Train in a way that supports their hormones — not fights them

Through online training programs, personalised coaching, and community support, I help women move from feeling like a “hot mess” to achieving real hormone success — physically, mentally, and emotionally.
